Dark Shadow is sired by the incoprable Om El Arab stallion, the exotic black Dreamcatcher SMF. His sire lines is riddled with the best of Egyptian breeding and a hint of spanish. His paternal grandsire is none other than the triple crown stallion, Simeon Shai+ and his paternal granddam is an established show horse producer of champions. Dark Shadow's dam is a direct daughter of the one and only *Padron, with lines to such horses as the immortal GG Jabask and incredible Fame VF+.

Dark Shadow is also an accomplished halter horse, already garnering multiple titles in the competitive Region 9 Championships as a two year old in both two year old stallions and open stallions. In 2007, he added an additional Region 9 TOP 5 in senior stallions. He is a Class A multi champion and will continue his career in performance in the upcoming seasons on the regional and national levels. Dark Shadow has already started off 2008 with a bang winning at the Region 12 Golden Strup Classic I in the Western Pleasure Jr. Stallion class.
